Strengthening democracy in 2012

Reacting to the Cou-rt in short memo-highest petitions, Hussain Haqqani’s advice and former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Asma Jehangir called it the darkest day in the history of the judiciary. He said he wasn’t sure yet Whether the judiciary was independent, restored after a long struggle, stand up for unpopular people or formation. During arguments before a nine-member bench him, he took most of the time gunning for the creation of a security, even States that the petitions filed on the command. After the Court’s decision to form a Commission under the three High Court judges to investigate the problem, he said the command SC has strengthened against the elected Government. Although he criticized the PPP Government as well, it’s obvious that he’s a complete narrative aligned with the ruling party. Do they have the recipe to save democracy?
Let’s look at a simple recipe to save their democracy-first. It basically boils down to give freehand a Government to do PPP whatever like to finish term in 2013. According to them, it is a time when voters will make the Government accoun, and any attempt to make the Government sit in charge prior to the number of electoral democracies are jeopardising. An independent judiciary is a thorn in the side this half-baked Democrats for refusing to surrender and bulldozed into doing a task that to insist on upholding the rule of law and curb abuse of power by the Government. Each time the Court passes a command which shows the peak of corruption in Government ranks or to stop government officials from exercising their constitutional authority in a manner that is arbitrary and unconstitutional, Justice of the Honorable vilified and accused of overstepping their constitutional role.
In fact, this is a recipe for democratic disaster. What they refer to in the name of democracy is dictatorship over the law to a Government sitting. Given the democratic credentials of the PPP, and even other political parties in the country, this basically means handing it to the individual, the dictatorship of President Asif Zardari in this case. Any institution or individual, who questioned the unconstitutional President of the Government’s fault or remote controlled, considered a conspirator to the democracy itself. If media take a matter of public interest or national, it is doomed to be a tool in the hands of the CONTENT. If security did not agree with the establishment of the command PPP secret memo that aims to cut to size, and the Supreme Court orders the plane problem, State institutions labeled as anti-democracy.
Of course, things aren’t as simple as that. The definition of democracy is not restricted to a political party or his leadership of the party officials. By narrowing down the concept of democracy as partisan and lower level, the flag was genuine-bearers of democracy are doing more harm than good. Go to the definition of those who are on a par with democracy, Zardari’s PPP people Pakistan has enough of it. But it’s not so! Pakistan voters do not see the failure of Government PPP as a failure of democracy. Their desire to replace the incompetent and corrupt established through democratic means it can be seen at the rally of the opposition party. Groups that are more and more that embrace their Democratic right to protest peacefully against the anti-immigration people’s Party called the people. Of course, democracy will not die with the fall of this Government by 2013 – or 2012.
Instead of generating the complete paradigm of democracy with the ghosts of the past and martyr, sacrifice and conspiracy which is clothed in mystery, PPP wallas and their friends-visioned tunnel would do better to focus on strengthening the democratic process. Of course, the best place to start would be to reform democratic institutions so that they are brought closer to the ideals on which they stand and where they obtained their moral authority. Democratic institutions are strong is the best guarantee against any anti-democracy moves. If they are democratic in name only and does not enjoy the support of people, they will still be subject to State agencies with or without any conspiracy. Political leadership has a responsibility to bring the substance of the slogan’s largest democracy. The Government and opposition parties both have a stake in the democratic system, so they are natural partners in strengthening it.
It is incredible that any political party in the country has the structure of party officials. Democracy, like charity, should start at home. If the political leadership so sure about the best democracy to the country, perhaps they should introduce in their party as well. This is doubly important as far as the authorities concerned, such as PPP decisions impacting directly and immediately on the community. Do hold elections too difficult, at least it could shift the party’s decision-making Central Executive Committee for the now defunct. Obviously, the decisions taken after the debate in the Committee would be better than those taken by President Zardari, with a core Committee of
