In 2012, the new law for California child

At least eight new California legislation affecting school-age children in one way or another.

The new law that a forced public schools to include lessons about the gay and lesbian history of achievements. The new law will make it easier for students who are recorded in a public College to apply for financial aid.

This change also in the works for the kindergarten cutoff. Beginning next fall, children may enter KINDERGARTEN if they were five years old by 1 November, instead of 2 December. This is part of the phase-in would set a cutoff date on September 1, KINDERGARTEN in the fall of 2014. The law also made the transition to kindergarten for children who are caught in between.

State School Superintendent backed booster seat law. Now children aged 8 years and under must use a car seat or booster seat in the rear passenger compartment of the car. If a child who is older than eight is too small for seat belts, child must use the amplifier or car seat. There is a minimum fine of $ 475 for breaking this law.
