Two doctors who traveled to Maryland to perform late-term abortions was arrested on multiple counts of murder, in what is called the Associated Press “the use of unusual law that allows for murder charges in the death of the fetus is viable.”

Police picked up Dr. Steven Brigham was arrested December 28 in New Jersey, while Utah authorities arrested Dr Nicola Riley (left) in Salt Lake City, where he awaits extradition.

Two doctors were charged with grand jury investigation nearly a year after-and-a-half that began after a botched abortion in Elkton, Maryland, Brigham’s clinic near the border of Delaware.

According to documents filed by the medical regulator, the 18-year-old woman who suffered a 21-week pregnant uterine rupture and other internal injuries while under the care of two doctors. But instead of calling 9-1-1, Riley drove the woman to a local hospital, where, according to the document, he and Brigham refused to cooperate with medical personnel. Researchers find Brigham’s clinic found freezer containing 35 late-term babies, pre-born, including one estimated to have been cancelled at 36 weeks-or nine-month period.
